SUB.:- WAGGGS Around the World (World Thinking Day) Sangam International event

             from 16th  Feb.  to 25th Feb. 2007, Scholarship event.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

With reference to the Sangam International Centre that there is a golden opportunity on the ‘World Thinking Day’ for guiders to meet sisters all over  the world to share the experience and cultural exchange in the event. The details are as follows.

 

International Scholarship event (for young women)

 

Name of the event     : WAGGGS Around the world (World Thinking day)

 

Theme                         :Discover the history of Sangam and explore all that it has to offer.

 

Date                            : From 16th February to 25th February 2007

 

Location                      : Sangam World Centre WAGGGS Alandi Road, Yerawada,

                                         Pune-411006,India.

 

Weather                                  : Cold Season

 

Quota allotted                        : Two

 

Who can attend          : * Adult guide/Ranger leader below 30 years who have not been to

                                           Sangam  before are offered the scholarship.

·        Perfect knowledge in English is compulsory.

 

Programme & Activities:  Attend & share World Thinking day with Girl Scouts and girl guides

                                            from around the world as you learn more about the songs, games, and

                                            traditions of international guiding and scouting. Look at the past and

                                            future of our movement and explore the links between WAGGGS &

                                            WOSM, The UN and other non-Governmental organisations.

 

 

 

 

Expenditure             : * Rs. 1200/- Booking fees to participate in the name of

                                                        Sangamworldcentre ( D.D.)

                                       *  Travelling expenditure by self to reach Sangam.

 * Event fees scholarship (on one time basis)

 

Last Date                   : 12th January 2007

 

Kindly send the applications along Registration & Health forms with 3 photographs (in uniform) D.D. in favour of Sangam World Centre, to National Headquarters for confirmation through state first come first served basis.
