Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

            We are happy to inform you that the Bangladesh Scouts is pleased to invite us to the 9th National Rover Moot during 06th January 2009 to 12th January 2009 at the Regional Scout Training Centre, Bahadurpur (Bahadurpur Rover Pally), Gazipur with a view to promoting and strengthening rovering for betterment of future leadership of young people by providing them the opportunity to be together and engage in various activities fostering friendship and mutual understanding.

Below are the basic information of the 9th National Rover Moot.

Eligibility

:

Rover Scouts aged between 17 to 25 years.

-         Adventure (Pioneering and Night Hiking)

Display Board

:

Each Country will get a board for display its Scouting and Country Profile. The size of the board will be 1 m x 1 m.

 

Moot/ Registration Fee

:

 Registration fee per participant for the SAARC Countries is US$ 50.00. It covers the inland transportation to and from the Zia International Airport, Camp Souvenir, Scarf, Moot Badge, Waggle and Food.

Weather

:

The Weather of Bahadurpur in January will be pleasant. The temperature will be around 10 Degree Centigrade at night and around 10 to 15 Degree Centigrade at day time.

 

What to bring

:

Following materials is a must to be carried by each participants: two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part II, track suit, sleeping bag, ruck sack, sleeping mat, blanket, toilet requisites, torch or flashlight, water bottle, rope, plate, mug, spoon, writing materials, first-aid kit, comfortable sports shoe, sweeter/jacket, shorts, personal medicine lunch box, p-cap, Light warm clothes & other necessary materials required for the Camping programme.

Participants are requested to bring NSO Flag, National Flag and a CD of National Anthem.

 

 

You are requested to send the Caution money of Rs. 3000.00 in favour of Director, Bharat Scouts & Guides payable at New Delhi and the nomination of the eligible participants to the National Headquarters, Bharat Scouts & Guides, New Delhi latest by 10th December 2008.
