REMINDER-I

 

SUB.:-9th  Asia Pacific Regional  Conference at Srilanka from 3rd to 9th June 2007.

REF.:- NHQ Circular No. 117 /2006, dated:9.10. 06 .

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

As we have not  received any application forms up till today  so once again we are reminding all the states the  next Asia Pacific Regional Conference of WAGGGS will be hosted on June –2007. Applications for the observers and youth representatives are invited for the participation in the conference. The particulars are as follows:

 

Name of the event     : 9th Asia Pacific Regional Conference.

 

Dates                          : 3rd to 9th June 2007

 

Venue                         : Pegasus Reef Hotel, P. O.Box 2,Hendala, Wattala, Srilanka

 

Theme                         : “Many but one”

 

Participants                : (1) Two delegates selected by the National Commissioner.

                                         (2) Observers may be recommended by the State Association.

 

Eligibility for Observers:Headquarters Commissioner(G), State Chief Commissioner(G), Jt. State

                                          Secretary and State Org.Commissioner(G), State Secretary(G), Young

                                          Woman aged 18-30 who is a member of  the National Board or a Sub-

                                          Committee (Delegates or Observers).

 

Registration Fees      :50 US Dollars

 

Delegation Fees                     : 400 US Dollars

 

Accommodation          : Single Room US $ 65 with break fast

                                         Double Room US $71 with break fast

                                                 Triple Room US$76 with break fast

 

Home Hospitality       : After the Conference only for the following nights Saturday 9th Sunday

 10th and Monday 11th

 

Estimated Expenditure: Caution Money                                             Rs.  3000/-

                                         (Candidates once selected and not

                                                 participated 50% of  caution deposit

                                                 will be forfeited)

                                                Registration Fees 50 Dollars

                                                Delegate Fees 400 Dollars

                                                Approximately as on today 48 X 450= Rs.21,600/-

                                                Air fare approx as on today from Delhi Rs.24,353/-

                                                Visa & other expenditure will be mentioned

What to bring             : Two sets of correct and complete uniforms as per APRO Part III,

                                         Personal requirements, sleeping bed etc.

 

Applications of eligible candidates are invited to reach the National Headquarters on or before 10.1.2007 without further delay with caution money Rs.3000/- by demand draft in favour of “Director The Bharat Scouts & Guides” payable at New Delhi along with all the attached forms fill up with their passport size photographs.
