SUB.:- 5th Scout Youth Forum – 2007  SAJ Invitation Programme.       

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

The Asia Pacific Region of the World Organisation of Scout Movement is organising the 22nd Asia Pacific Regional (APR) Scout Conference, with its ancillary events namely the 5th APR Scout Youth Forum and APR Course for Leader Trainers. These events will be hosted by the Scout Association of Japan (SAJ) in October 2007, in Tokyo, Japan. A detailed communication, inviting your participation has already been sent vide Circular No.06/07 and 07/07, dated: 25.01.07 and 29.01.07 respectively.

 

On this occasion SAJ  has  invited  through  ‘2007 Invitation Programme’ a team of three member from Bharat Scouts and Guides to Japan for 14 days from 11th October to 24th October 2007. The details are as follows:-

 

1. Name of the Event                   : 2007 SAJ Invitation Programme.

 

2. Dates                                        : 11th October to 24th October 2007

 

3. Venue                                       : NYC, 3-1, Yoyogi Kamizono-Cho,

                                                       Shibuya-ku, Tokyo – Japan.

 

4. Participants                             : A team of three members composed of

                                                       two Rovers/Rangers (aged 18-23 years

                                                       on 12th October 2007) and one Rover/Ranger

                                                       (aged 18-26 years on 12th October 2007).

 

 

 

5. Eligibility                                 : i) Rashtrapati Award holding Rovers/Rangers aged

                                                           as mentioned above.

                                                       ii)Must have knowledge of English and be able to

                                                          understand and take part in discussions in English.

 

 

 

6. Expenditure                             : i)Caution Money       - Rs. 3,000.00

                                                      ii) Free Air Ticket to

                                                          and  from Narita Airport.

                                                     iii) Free board and lodging &

                                                          travelling inside Japan.

                                                     iv) Personal injury and medical

                                                          insurance inside Japan.

 

You are, therefore requested to recommend the names of best Rovers and Rangers as per eligibility above and send their applications in the form enclosed latest by 20th March 2007.

 

The final selection will be made by the National Commissioner as per instructions received time to time from SAJ.
