SUB.:- 3rd   APR UNIT LEADERS ROUNDTABLE                  

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

We are pleased to inform you that the World Scout Buerau/Asia Pacific Region in collaboration with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, is organizing the 3rd APR Unit Leaders Roundtable. Details of the Roundtable are as follows:

1. Name of the Event                         : 3rd  APR Unit Leaders  Roundtable

 

2. Dates                        : 5th June  to  8th June 2007

 

3. Venue                        : Asiaten Hotel, Tarlac City, Philippines.

                         (About two –three hours  drive from Manila.)

 

4. Theme                        : “Back to the Troop ”

 

5. Eligibility    :  Maximum of two Unit Leaders , preferably below 35 years

                                                                      old, to attend  the Roundtable and should be bonafide Unit

                                                                      Leaders who are actively looking after a unit. 

 

6. Fee                        : US $100.00 only for each overseas participant and

                                                                    payable in cash upon arrival at the Roundtable’s venue. The

                                                                    fee covers inland transportation, souvenir items, food and

                                                                    accommodation.

 

7. Expenditure                        : i)Caution Money                         - Rs. 3,000.00

                            (If selected and not

                                                participated, Caution

                                                money will not be

                                                refundable and forfeited)

                         ii) Travel Expenses including

                             Local conveyance,

                             Airport taxes & other

                                                                        Expenses, etc.                         - Rs. 33,000.00

 

                         iii) Food & Regn. Fee                        - Rs.  4,000.00

                                             (US $ 100.00  this will covers  

                                                                        inland transportation, souvenir 

                                                                       items ,food  and  accommodation.

                                               

 

8. Travel Arrangement                        : Participants should plan to arrive on 4th June 2007 and may

                                                                    leave on 9th June 2007. Participants will be received at the

                                                                    Ninoy Aquino International Airport or Diosdado Macapagal

                                                                    International Airport (also called Clark International Airport)

                                                                    by the Roundtable Reception Committee.     

 

We urge you all to send representatives to this unique Roundtable, which is a gathering of Unit Leaders in the centennial celebration of Scouting. Let us put the hands together and show our support to the Unit Leaders who are running the troops.

 

You are  requested to send the names of willing unit leaders of your association for participation in 3rd APR Unit Leaders Roundtable  in  the form enclosed latest by  25th May  2007.
