Sub:    8th National Jamboree in Bangladesh from 29th Dec. to 5th January 2010.

 

Dear Madam/Sir,

 

Bangladesh Scouts is organising the 8th National Jamboree, which will be held at National Scout Training Centre, Mouchak, Gazipur, Bangladesh from 29th Dec. to 5th January 2010. The Jamboree is organized with a view to promoting and strengthening peace, solidarity and cooperation among young people by providing them the opportunity to be together and engage in various activities fostering friendship and mutual understanding.

National Scout Training Centre, Mouchak, Gazipur, Bangladesh.

Theme

 

“Scouting for Change”

Eligibility

:

Scouts aged between 12-17 years.

 

Equipment

:

The participants need to bring Scout Uniform, NSO Flag, National Flag, CD of National Anthem, Compass, Sleeping Bags, Blanket, Toiletries and medicine, Torch, Umbrella, warm cloths and other necessary belongings.

Participants should not bring costly Materials/ Ornaments to the Camp.

 

Climate

:

The weather of Mouchak in December will be cold. The Temperature will be around 100C at night and around 15 -200C at daytime. Warm cloths and light blanket will be required at night. 

 

Fee

:

Registration fees for the participants of SAARC countries is USD 100.00. (Rs. 5000). The registration fee includes transportation to and from the Airport, food, accommodation and Jamboree Kit.

 

Transportation :- Transportation from Kolkata to Dhaka.

Rs. 1000/- aprox.
