Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are happy to inform you that the Scout Association of
Japan is pleased to invite us to the 15th Nippon Jamboree - 2010,
Below are the basic

The
summer climate around Jamboree site is regarded as cool and comfortable,
through the weather often changes Fog can cover the plateau quickly and this
give rise to the name of Asagiri, which means Foggy morning. Average
temperature at the Jamboree site on August in the past 5 years has been 21.08
degC (71.2 degF) the minimum 19.7 degC (67.4degF) and the maximum 24.5 degC
(76.1degF). |

Eligibility of Participants |
: |
Scouts
(age 12 – 18 on 1st August 2010- that is those born between 2nd
August 1991 and 1st August 1998) Leaders (age 19 and over). The
Standard troop size will be 36 Scouts and 4 Adult Leaders. The troop should
be organized into 4 patrols of 9 young people. Contingents not having enough
patrols to form a complete troop will be requested to join with other patrol
from Scouts
and Guides and leaders from Overseas must be registered as members of State
Organisation and approved by the Bharat Scouts and Guides. |

The
Jamboree participants will be as
follows: (All fees are charged in Japanese Yen). JPY
40,000- per person, for Scouts/ Guides and leaders including Contingent
leader, Troop leader and IST. (IST
fee for youth aged 19-25 on 01st August 2010, born between 02nd
August 1984 and 01st August 1991 is JPY 33,000- per person as a
benefit of discount. The
fee includes the following: -
Jamboree
Participation kit including badge and ID. -
All the program
fees during the Jamboree. -
Meals for the
duration of the Jamboree , for 23 meals from dinner on 01st August
2010. (Meals for IST will be 30 meals from dinner on 30th July
2010). Other expenses are the responsibilities of
participating overseas contingents.
For eg. The following fees are of your own expenses: -
Personal
equipment such as personal catering kit (knives, forks, mug and plate) and
Sleeping bag. -
Cost of Touring
in -
Camping
equipment (tents, tables etc). NOTE:
Troop Camping Equipment including Tents and Tables will be available for hire
or buy. |
