will be held at Incheon, Korea in August 2009.

Objectives |
: |
The 12th Girl Scout International Camp has the aim of
providing Girl Scouts/Guides and Scouts with opportunities:- - To
develop leadership and wisdom of life in various encampment programs with
nature. - To explore their own potentially through many challenging and
adventurous activities. - To promote cooperation and
Teamwork through camp life. - To share international
friendship and understanding and to foster world citizenship through
exchanges with overseas members. |

1 US$200 (Fee will be exempted for 01 girl and 01 Leader). |

Travel |
: |
Financial Assistance will be given by Girl Scout Korea to cover round
trip International Airfare. |

Weather |
: |
Summer in Korea is hot and humid with an average temperature of 290C
(84 F). It will be sunny with occasional rain showers. It may be cool at
night and warm clothes are to be prepared. |

Other Information |
: |
The Overseas delegation with large number of participants may be
assigned to the different Sub-Camps which are managed by the Provincial
Councils of the Girls Scouts of Korea. - 1 Troop
Leader per 9 Girls is highly recommended. - Each delegation is responsible for its own insurance. Each Participant has to pay for all costs
caused by Medical Treatment and hospital stays. The delegation is advised to
consider travel or international health insurance. |

Rs. 3,000 paid to National Headquarters, New Delhi in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, Bharat Scouts & Guides
payable at New Delhi. Last date to received applications to National
Headquarters. |

Home Hospitality will be arranged
to overseas guests from August 4-6 or 12 to 14 if requested in advance. |

Dear Sir/Madam,
With reference to our circular no. 141/08 dated 10.12.2008.
I am glad to inform you that the “12th Girl Scout International
Camp 2009” to be held at Incheon
Grand Park Incheom Korea from 05th to 11th
August 2009, has made some changes under the heading “Quota allotted”.
Accordingly
the event fee US$200 for 01 Girl and 01 Leader will be exempted.
For Traveling Financial Assistance will be given by Girl
Scouts Korea to cover round trip International Airfare.
The rest of details remains the
same.
The
last date for sending the form has been extended to 10th
March 2009.
Which was earlier 5th Jan 2009.
You
are requested to send the nomination of the Eligible participants to the
Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi latest by 10th
March 2009.
