Dear Madam/ Sir,

 

            Austria is celebrating “100 years of Scouting in Austria” in the year 2010. A Special Jamboree is organized in this occasion as urSPRUNG 2010- Austrian Jubilee Jamboree, which will be held at Laxenburg, Austria from 02-12 August 2010.

How to reach

:

The campsite is situated 15 km south of Vienna on the ample palace grounds of Laxenburg Castle. The city of Vienna, Laxenburg can be easily accessed by plain, train or bus.

 

Eligibility

:

Scouts/ Guides/ Rovers/ Rangers between the age of 13 to 20 years having a good command in English language are eligible.

 

Equipment

:

The participants need to bring their own tents and camping gear and Scout Uniform, NSO Flag, National Flag, CD of National Anthem, Personal Toiletries and medicine, Torch, Umbrella and other necessary belongings.

Participants should not bring costly Materials/ Ornaments to the Camp.

 

Climate

:

In the first two weeks of August, the weather in Eastern Austria is usually sunny and warm. There is however, always the possibility of rain. Daytime temperature reach

25-30 ۬ C, temperature at night range from 10-20 ۬ C.

 

Camp Fee

:

The camp fee for participating children and youths is EUR 255.00 (Rs. 17,500.00) approx. For one Adult leader with 7 participants. A reduced fee of EUR 125.00 (Rs. 8500.00) is payable. The fee includes food, accommodation and programme. All participants will receive a camp badge, a camp scarf and a camp manual.
