SUB: International Event “Global Round Table Conference”

 

Sir/Madam,

 

            We are glad to inform you that we have received an invitation for international event ie. “Global Round Table Conference” of WAGGGS and Girl Scouts of U.S.A. from 15th to 18th April, 2007. The details are as follows:

:

Youth Leader Trainers with experience

Quota

:

(1+1 = 2 representatives)

1. One Representative: Girl Scouts of the USA will cover all the expenses for only one person

(Selection will be done by the National Commissioner after receiving the applications)

2. One Additional Representative: on self expenditure basis (Fully paid by the participant) 

 

Dialogue will focus on

:

* Issues facing girls globally

* Delivering programme for girls best practice & challenges

* Membership strategies

* Funding successes and challenges

Programme Preparation

:

Representatives should be prepared to present best practices, identify challenges and discuss effective ways for addressing them. Our goal is to use what we learn to produce a resource guide of best practices and lessons learned for Member Organizations. Due to logistics, the conference will be conducted in English. 

Expenditure

:

*Caution money Rs. = 3000/-

(If selected and not participated 50% caution deposit it will be forfeited)

*Travel Expenses (Air fare & Taxes as on today)                  Rs.= 59005/-

(Subject to change)

*Event & Registration Fees will be informed latter on as soon as we received.

* Visa & other charges will be informed later on. 

 

Last date for receiving the application forms at National Headquarters 10th March, 2007.

 

Kindly send us the application forms alongwith the caution money through state. The Caution money in the name of the Director, The Bharat Scouts & Guides, New Delhi. Time is very short so send the forms through speed post.
