Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are happy to inform you that the National Scout Organization of Thailand is pleased to invite us to the 18th National Jamboree, Thailand which will be held at Trang Scout Camp, Huay Youd District, Thailand from 25-30 April 2009.

Trang National Scout Camp or “ Thai Chalerm Prakiat Scout Camp” located at Huay- Yod District, Trang Province, The South of Thailand, about 828 kilometers from Bangkok. |

Eligibility |
: |
Open for young Scouts and Guides age between 12-17 years old. Apply as per patrol consists of 9 Scouts with 1 leader and 9 Guides with 1 Guide Captain. |

Highlight Programme |
: |
A wide variety of activities which designed to suit young scouts will be offered, both on- site and off- site such as Adventure, Water Activities, Hiking, Community Services, Art and Cultures, Science & Technology, Pioneering, Educational Tour, Free Time Activities, Exhibitions, Games etc. Post programme tour can be arranged upon requested with moderate price, not more than US $ 50 which cover accommodation, meals, city tour, and Tranportation to airport. |

US $ 100 per person (both Scout and leader) The fee will cover all meals during camp (from dinner of 24th April 2009 to Breakfast of 1st May 2009), Tent Accommodation, Activities Programme, Jamboree Souvenirs, Insurance and Transportation (from Krabi Airport, Phuket Airport, Trang Bus Terminal or Trang Train Terminal). |

Weather |

The temperature in Trang all year round is warm with an average 20-36 celcius. But in April, the temperature is the hottest period of the year. The best time to visit Trang is between December – May which is not the Monsoon period. |

What to bring |
: |
Following materials is a must to be carried by each participants: two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part II , track suit, warm bedding, sleeping bag, ruck sack, sleeping mat, toilet requisites, torch, water bottle, rope, plate, mug, spoon, writing materials, first-aid kit, comfortable sports shoe, sweeter/jacket, lunch box, p-cap, rain gear & other necessary materials required for the Camping programme. |

Transportation |
: |
Transportation will be arranged from Trang, Phuket or Krabi Airport to Campsite and also from Trang Railway Station and Trang Bus Terminal. |

How to Reach Trang |
: |
By Air: There is a direct flights from India to Phuket and the Transportation to pick up from the Airport to campsite will be organized. From Bangkok: The most convenient way is to take a flight from Donmuang Domestic Airport to Krabi and Transportation will be arranged to pick up to campsite. By Train: From Bangkok Rapid or Express Trains from Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lampong) to Trang are available daily at 05.05 pm and 06.20 pm. The Trip takes about 15 hours. By Bus: From Bangkok Air Conditioned Buses from Southern Bus Terminal to Trang are available everyday. The Trip takes about 12 hours. |
