Sub: 5th SAF SCOUT FRIENDSHIP CAMP 2007
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am to inform you that the 5th South Asia Foundation Scouts Friendship Camp is scheduled to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan from 21st to 26th February 2007. The details in this regards are furnished below:
1. Name of the Event : 5th SAF Scouts Friendship Camp
2. Dates : 21st to 26th February 2007
3. Venue : Islamabad, Pakistan

4. Who can participate : |
- an active scouts / guide of not less than Scout 16 years of age as on 31. 01.2007 |
|
|
- must have obtained Rashtrapati Award Badge (relaxable in case of Rajya Puraskar Badge Holders with exceptional achievements / qualifications) |
|
|
- must be a regular member of the unit. |
|
5. Selection : |
Selection will be made absolutely on merits which may, besides scouting/guiding qualifications, include proficiency in other co-curricular activities. If needed participants may the called for interview at NHQ, Delhi at their cost. |

6. Adult Leaders : |
Unit Leaders may also send their applications. Final selections will be
made by the National Commissioner |

7. Expenditures : |
The selected participants will be required to report at National Headquarters, Bharat Scouts and Guides on the dates to be communicated soon. The Bharat Scouts and Guides will bear travel expenses to and fro Islamabad, Pakistan |
A detailed programme of activities alongwith other information in this regard will be sent as soon as it is received from the APR.
In the meanwhile, I request you to select really deserving Scouts and Guides as per conditions mentioned at Sl.No. 4 above and send their applications duly recommended in the proforma enclosed latest by 15th December 2006. Application received after this date may not be entertained.
