SUB: 007 “LICENSE TO THRILL” INTERNATIONAL GUIDER CAMP.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

                  Regarding our Circular no. 39/2006 dated 08.05.2006, we have not received any applications from the states. We again remind you to send the applications of eligible candidate. We are in receipt of an Invitation from the International Commissioner, Girl Guides of Canada. An international Guider Camp to be held in the province of Ontario, Canada in July 2007 (this is a female only event). The details of the Event are as follows.

007 “LICENSE TO THRILL” INTERNATIONAL GUIDER CAMP.

From 29th July to 5th August 2007

 

VENUE

:
Rolling Hills Area, Ontario, Canada

 

ELIGIBILITY

:

HWB/ALT/LT, Young Adult Leaders (Female only) in Guide Wing have the knowledge of spoken English may apply.

 

PROGRAMME

:

All Camping programmes of Guider Activities. In this includes outdoor activities, Crafts, Canada Day, Special Guests, Choice of out trip (on payment only) i.e. Niagara falls Toronto Scenic Boat Cruise.

HOME HOSPITALITY

:

2-3 days (If you apply before or after the camp)

 

FEES

:

Event Cost Canadian Dollar 550 (does not include cost of roundtrip travel to Toronto)

 

EXPENDITURE

:

Following Expenditure will have to be borne by the participants:

Caution Money                                                         Rs.3,000/-

(non-refundable if selected and not participated)

Event Fees Canadian 550 Dollars (Apprx.)            Rs.23,000/-

Air Fare approximately(subject to actual)              Rs.50,000/-

Visa & other charges approximately                      Rs.  5,000/-

WHAT TO BRING

:

Two sets of current and complete uniform as per APRO Part III, Personal requirements, Bedding (Sleeping Bag) etc.

 

Applications of eligible candidates are invited to reach at National Headquarters on or before 30th July 2006 with caution money RS.3,000/- by Demand Draft in favour of Director Bharat Scouts & Guides payable at New Delhi along with three passport size photographs.
