Dear Sir/ Madam,

As you all know the Scouting in India is all set to welcome 2009 while it will be completing its 100 years journey and we the members of this Voluntary Organisation shall Volunteer for making the Centenary year a memorable one. Each one of us starting from District to National Level needs to give a serious thought how to become a part of this Centenary Celebration.

It is learnt that some of the pioneering States are having rare materials pertaining to scouts / Guides movement in the past. During the recent National Executive Meeting held at National Headquarters on 17.03.2008. Our Hon’ble National Commissioner has expressed his desire to have an exhibition of 100 photos depicting the history of Indian Scouting and to obtain write ups about the eminent Personalities/ Founders of Scouting in India from the members of the Organisation to National Headquarters in connection with the ensuring Celebration.

It is time bound action and as such the needful may be done within 2 Weeks to that a compliance report can be submitted to the National Commissioner within the desired period of One month.
