Sub:  APR Image Study 2008.

 

Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

            The APR Regional Office is conducting an Image Study of Scouting in all the National Scout Organizations. The Sample Survey is to cover both members and non members. This will also cover all age groups, different sections of the movement. The opinion of non Scout Leaders such as Educationist, Principles of School / Colleges and well wishers of the movement may be taken. The parents of the existing members are also to be approached for getting their opinion.

 

            The idea is to cover Scouts / Guides in the age group of 10-26 years and non Scouts (Students) in the age group of 10 to 26 years. Please get the response from the following category of respondents:

 

1. Cub/ Bulbuls – 2 each.

2. Scouts / Guides – 2 each.

3. Rovers/ Rangers – 2 each.

4. School Students between 10 to 14 years old – 2 each.

5. School Students between 15 to 17 years old – 2 each.

6. Students / Youth between 18 to 26 years old -2 each.

7. Adults Scouts Leaders (above 26 years) 1 each from Cub/ Bulbul, Scout/ Guide, Rover/                               Ranger Section.

8. Non Scout Leaders (above 26 years) -5 (Covering different section of the society).

9. Parents of Cubs / Bulbuls, Scouts / Guides, Rover/ Rangers – 2 each.

 

The survey may be conducted in both urban and rural areas of your state and the original survey forms filled in by the Respondent along with the summary sheet may be sent to NHQ by 25th December 2008. The Questionnaire to be used for the Survey is enclosed herewith for use at your level.
