Sub: Deputation of Jamboree Staff in the Special National Jamboree-2009 for Centenary year of Indian Scouting at Gujarat University Ground, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 01-07 February 2009-.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
We are glad to inform you that the Special National Jamboree will be held at Gujarat University Ground, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 01-07 February 2009. For effective and successful conduct of Jamboree, you are requested to depute sincere, dedicated and disciplined Wood Badge Holders, Senior Scouters / Guiders and Trainers. They should be ready to accept any responsibility offered by the Jamboree Director. Each State can nominate maximum 3 members from Scoutwing and 2 from Guidewing to work as Jamboree Staff.
Eligibility:
Ø Age between 30 to 50years.
Ø Can speak and understand Hindi & English and should have worked at State level events atleast once.
Ø Who can bear the strain of field work and can work continuously for ten hours a day.
Ø The name should be recommended in attached form by the State Association.
Ø NHQ reserves the right to accept / reject the names recommended.
Note: No change of names will be accepted at Jamboree Ground. Late comers will not be accepted.

Travelling expenditure will be paid as per NHQ Rules i.e. IInd Class Concessional Train Fare on production of a photocopy of Train Ticket and Bus Ticket in Original.
Note: No Staff members will be allowed to bring their family or children along with them and stay in the Jamboree ground. They will not take up any responsibility of the State contingent while working as Staff of the Jamboree.

The above names are
recommended by our State to work as Jamboree Staff. They will follow the rules
and regulation and instructions of the Jamboree authorities. They will not
bring their family members or scouts/ guides with them to the Jamboree. The
State association will not assign the any work during the Jamboree for the
benefit of the State Association.
