Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

            We are glad to inform you that the National Integration Camp will be conducted at the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Youth Complex, Gadpuri from 21 – 25 February 2009.

Following are the details of the event.

Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Youth Complex, Gadpuri, Haryana.

 

How to Reach

:

Gadpuri is situated on the Mathura Road in between Palwal and Ballabhgarh (just 10 Km from Ballabhgarh). From Faridabad/ Ballabhgarh/ Delhi (Sarai Kale Khan) buses are available for Palwal. Get down at Gadpuri Bus Stand.

 

Who can attend

:

Scouts/ Guides of age 14 to 17 years and must have completed at least Rajya Puraskar Badge. (Best Scouts/ Guides may please be selected).

 

Quota

:

Scouts - 16, Scouter- 01 Guides- 16, Guider- 01 Total= 34.

 

Development Fee

:

Rs. 50/- from Scouts & Guides, Rs. 100/- from Adults Leaders.

 

Special Fee

:

Rs. 30/- per head from Scouts/ Guides & Adult Leaders,

Total= Rs. 130/- from Adult Leaders and Rs. 80/- from Scouts & Guides per head will be collected at the time of Registration.

 

Financial Assistance

:

Actual Bus Fare and 2nd / Sleeper Class Concessional train fare will be reimbursed by the National Headquarters on production of a photocopy of train tickets and Bus tickets in original. Bus fare will be paid were there is no train service.

 

Date of Reporting

:

21st February 2009 before Lunch.

 

Date of Departure

:

25th February 2009 after Lunch.

 

Materials to be brought

:

Following materials is must to be carried by each participants:

Two set of correct and complete uniform as per APRO part II and III. Track suit, Warm beddings, Sleeping Bed, Torch, Water bottle, Rope, Plate, Mug, Spoon, Writing materials, First Aid Kit, Sweater/ Jacket, Personal clothing, Materials for State Exposition, exhibition, items related to their states culture, musical instruments, Traditional costumes for cultural programmes, Camp- fire, local food items for food plaza and other necessary materials for Integration programme. Warm clothing’s are necessary due to chill weather.

 

Programme & activities

:

Exhibition, Quiz, Debate, Discussions, State Exposition, Folk Song, Folk Dance, Patriotic Song etc. Each State will expose their Festivals, Crafts, Culture, Food, Marriages, Development of Scouting/ Guiding activities in their State. State Exposition with details of Geography, Business and Minerals etc.

:

The list of participating candidates should reach on or before 15th January 2009 with copy to Assistant Director, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Northern Region, New Ashok Nagar, New Delhi-110096..
