Madam / Sir,
The
National Headquarters plans to organise Special events for extension branches
of Scouting / Guiding during the Centenary year of Scouting in India. We
understand that a number of States Associations of Bharat Scouts & Guides
have special units dealing with the children who are physically challenged and
those with special needs. We plan to have events for such children and we will
be sending the details of such events to all the State Associations.
It is
therefore requested to send us the
details of the Special Branches of Extension Units being run by you for
children with blindness, deaf and dumbness, physical challenges etc and also
for children in special areas such as street children, children of orphanages,
children of other special needs latest by 31st January 2009 in the
Proforma enclosed.
On
hearing from you, we will send the detailed programme of events specially
organised for these children. Hope the States will take the full advantage of
the opportunity provided to the maximum benefit of the children with special
needs.
