SUB:- NATIONAL LEVEL FORUM FOR FORMER RASHTRAPATI SCOUTS/GUIDES,

           ROVERS/RANGERS.

 

  Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

            National Headquarters is organising National level Forum for Former Rashtrapati Scouts/Guides,Rovers/Rangers at Western Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides, District Headquarters, Vadodara, Near Railway Auditorium, Pratapnagar, Vadodara, Gujarat. The details of the event are as :-

 

NAME OF  THE EVENT     : NATIONAL LEVEL FORUM FOR FORMER RASHTRAPATI

                                                 SCOUTS/GUIDES, ROVERS/RANGERS.

 

VENUE                                   : Western Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides,District

                                                  Headquarters,Vadodara, Near Railway Auditorium, Pratapnagar,

                                                  Vadodara, Gujarat.

 

DATES                                   : From 14th  March to 18th  March, 2007

 

DATE OF  REPORTING     :14th  March before lunch

 

DATE OF DEPARTURE      : 18th  March  after lunch

 

DEVELOPMENT FEE         : Each participant has to pay Rs.50/- as Development Fee at the

                                                  time of  Registration & Rs.100/- for Adult Leaders.

 

SPECIAL FEE                       :Rs. 30/- for each  participants including Adult Leaders.

 

ELIGIBILITY                        :Former Rashtrapati Scouts/Guides, Rovers/Rangers (below 25 years of age) may be deputed to attend the Forum.

WHAT TO BRING               :Personal Kit:- Two sets of correct & complete uniform as per APRO Part-II &     III, Personal  kit, Plate & glass,Camera, Cloths for change,etc.                                                 They should also bring materials for Cultural items , warm beddings, Bed                                                Sheets, Candle, torch, water bottle, writing materials etc.

Contingent Kit:- Dari, Musical instruments, bucket, Bhagona with cover, Thali or Parat etc. and  necessary materials for the event.                  

                                                                           

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: National Headquarters will reimburse the Second Class concessional                                                   Train Fare and actual Bus Fare (On shortest route where there is no train route) on production of photocopy of train tickets and bus ticket in original.( No Taxi/Auto fare is allowed)

 

HOW TO REACH   :  The nearest Railway station is Vadodara(Gujarat). It is situiated on MumbaiDelhi main Railway line and also well connected with roadways. The venue is 6 K.M. away from Vadodara Railway Station. Auto ricksaw and buses are frequently available from Rly. Station Vadodara to Pratapnagar (Railway Colony). The approx fare is Rs 5/- to 7/- per person.

 

PROGRAMME & ACTIVITIES: Youth Forum, Group discussion, Quiz,Venture Club scheme, Helping Association in Organizational work, Badge Instructors & Examiners, Organising Camps, Hikes, Social services, Community Development Programmes, Helping district Administration in conducting Social Campaign, Traffic Control, Service squad, Games, Creative activities, life saving skills, service skills, Public Relations in Scouting/Guiding, Cultural Programmes etc.

 

QUOTA ALLOCATION:      Former Rashtrapati Scpouts 04, Guides 04, Rovers 02, Rangers 02, Staff 01. Total = 13.

 

FREE LITERATURE    : National Headquarters will distribute literature approx. worth Rs 100/- free to each participant in the camp.

                                                             

 LAST DATE OF APPLICATION TO NHQ:          10th March 2007

 

            State Associations are requested to take full advantage of the quota allocation. List of the participants with arrival details may kindly be sent on or before 05th March, 2007 to National Headquarters with a copy to State secretary, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Western Railway State Headquarters, Mumbai.
