SUB.:- CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME FOR

             ROVER/RANGER,SENIOR SCOUTS/GUIDES.

 

Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

             I am glad to inform that a Cultural Exchange programme for Rovers/Rangers,Senior Scouts/Guides will be held at Tripura  State Bharat Scouts & Guides, State Headquarters Cum Trg. Centre, A. D. Nagar, Agartala.  The details of the event are as :-

 

NAME OF  THE EVENT     : CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME FOR

                                                  ROVER/RANGER,SENIOR SCOUTS/GUIDES.

 

VENUE                                   :Tripura State Bharat Scouts & Guides, State Headquarters Cum Trg.

                                                 Centre, A. D. Nagar Higher Secondary School, Arbind Sangh,

                                                 Agartala. 

 

DATES                                   : From 23rd March to 29th March, 2007

 

DATE OF  REPORTING     : 23rd March before lunch

 

DATE OF DEPARTURE      : 29th March  after lunch

 

DEVELOPMENT FEE         : Each participant has to pay Rs.50/- as Development Fee at the

                                                  time of  Registration & Rs.100/- for Adult Leaders.

 

SPECIAL FEE                       :Rs. 30/- for each  participants including Adult Leaders.

 

ELIGIBILITY                        :Rover/Ranger, Senior Scouts/Guides who have completed at least 

                                                 Nippun/Rajya Puraskar Badge.(BestRover/Ranger,Senior Scouts/Guides   

                                                 may please be selected)

WHAT TO BRING               : One set of correct & complete uniform as per APRO Part-II &  III, Personal  kit, Plate & glass,Camera, Cloths for change,etc. They should also bring materials for State Exposition, exhibition, items related to their states’ culture,musical  instruments, traditional Costumes for cultural programmes,Camp Fire, local Food items for demonstration and necessary materials for National Integration  Camp.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: National Headquarters will reimburse the Second Class concessional                                                   Train Fare and actual Bus Fare (On shortest route where there is no train route) on production of photocopy of train tickets and bus ticket in original.( No Taxi/Auto fare is allowed)

HOW TO REACH   :Trains are available upto Guwahati. From Guwahati (Paltan Bazar Bus Stand) to Agartala ASTC Buses are available. Jouirney takes approximately 2400 Hrs. From Agartala Bus stand Tripura State Headquarters Cum Trg. Centre is at A.D. Nagar which is about 03 K.M. from Bus stand. On request of Contingent Leader Bus will drop upto State Trg. Centre. PROGRAMME & ACTIVITIES: Presentation of Exhibition, Quiz  Competition, Youth Programme, Discussions,  State Exposition, State Exhibition, Folk Song, Folk Dance, Patriotic Song, Devotional Song, Peace March,Food Plaza, Skill O Rama, etc.  Each State will expose their festivals, crafts, culture, food, marriages, Development of Scouting/Guiding activities in the state etc.

 

 

QUOTA ALLOCATION:                  Scouts: 16 + 2=18                        Guides: 16 + 2 = 18

                                                             

                                                                        TOTAL NO. 36 from each State.

 

LAST DATE OF APPLICATION TO NHQ:           10th March 2007

 

            You are requested kindly to send the list of participants according to your quota to the State Secretary, BS&G, Tripura  State with a copy to Joint Director(S) at National Headquarters on or before 10th March 2007. If you are not utilizing the allotted quota please inform us in time so that additional quota may be allotted to bigger States.
