Dear Sir,

 

            You may be aware that a Special book “100 Glorious Years of Scout Movement in India - Memories

1909 – 2009” has been released in National Headquarters of the Bharat Scouts & Guides on 27th November 2009 by H.E. Shri Rameshwar Thakur, Governor of Madhya Pradesh & President, The Bharat Scouts and Guides.

 

            The book contains One hundred pages of selected rare photographs relating to the movement, beginning right from the year 1910, just one year after start of the movement in India. The book also contains details of Postal Stamps released in the year 1967 & 1970, Special Covers released by the Indian Postal Department from time to time, including that released on 20th November 2009 on the opening day of 7th SAF Scout Friendship Camp at NYC, Gadpuri. The book contains valuable information about the prestigious Awards and recognition received by the organization. The book will prove to be an asset worth personal collections of Scout/ Guide leaders at all over India and as a reference book by the Scout/ Guide Organizations at all levels in India.

 

            The price of the book has been kept nominal i.e. Rs. 130/- only as compared to the matter, paper quality & get up of the book. Further, as per Special directives by the National Commissioner, the book will be provided at a special discounted price of Rs. 115/- only upto 31st March 2010.

 

            So, you are requested to place your valuable orders for required copies of the book at the earliest, lest it becomes out of Stock. For State orders, transportation charges will be borne by National Headquarters, when the book is supplied along with other equipment indented by the State Associations. The book can also be ordered by individual buyers by V.P.P by sending a sum of Rs. 50/- only as advance to cover postage charges. In such cases postal charges will be borne by the party.
