Sub: Quota for Service Rovers and Rangers in the 16^th National Jamboree for Centenary year of Indian Scouting at Shankarapally, Rangareddy District, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh from 06-12 November 2009.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

We are glad to inform you that the 16^th National Jamboree will be held at Shankarapally, Rangareddy District, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh from 06-12 November 2009. For effective and successful conduct of Jamboree, you are requested to depute sincere, dedicated and disciplined, active Rovers and Rangers to work as Service Rovers/ Rangers in the Jamboree. They should be ready to accept any responsibility offered by the Leader of the Camp. Any Rover/ Rangers who is not performing his/ her duty satisfactorily will be immediately relieved and sent back and he or she will not be paid any travel expenses.

Eligibility:

Ø Age between 19 to 25 years.

Ø Can speak and understand Hindi & English and should have completed Nipun stage in Rovering and Rangering.

Ø Who can bear the strain of field work and can work continuously for ten hours.

Ø Must be physically fit, disciplined and Scout/ Guide spirited person.

Ø The name should be recommended in attached form by the State Authority.

Ø NHQ reserves the right to accept / reject the candidature.

Ø Age Proof must be attached with the application form.

Ø Two Passport size Photo (in Uniform) should be brought to the Jamboree at the time of Registration.

Quota Allocation:

ROVERS

RANGERS

Date of Reporting at Jamboree Site	04^th November 2009 before lunch.
Date of Relieving	13^th November 2009 after lunch.
Last date of receiving list of selected Rover/ Ranger at NHQ	5^th October 2009.

Travelling expenditure will be paid as per NHQ Rules i.e. IInd Class Concessional Train Fare on production of a photocopy of Train Ticket and Bus Ticket in Original.

Note: 1. Rovers and Rangers who are traveling with the State Contingents and not reporting on reporting dates will not be admitted.

2. State may depute candidates only after receiving selection letter from National Headquarters.

3. No change of names will be accepted at Jamboree Ground.
