Sir/Madam,
Attention is invited to the NHQ Circular No. 111/2009, dated 17.08.2009 on the subject mentioned above.
In view of the H1N1 Virus pandemic which has spread all over the country and is spreading further, it has become necessary to take extra care while sending boys and girls to the programme organized by you at Unit, District and State level.
In this context, It is requested that all the Scouts/Guides/Rovers/Rangers and others including leaders participating in the events at local, District, State and National level be properly screened for H1N1 Virus at each level before allowing them to proceed to take part in any event of Scouting/Guiding including all Testing Camps. While organizing an event, services of Medical Officer may please be procured using your local resources to screen the Scouts/Guides and if slightest symptoms of flu are noticed/reported by the Medical Officer, necessary action to quarantine them or send them back should be taken as per medical advice.
It is therefore advised that only healthy and flu symptom free participants be involved in the Local/District and State level activities.
