Sub:- 10th National Level Painting Competition – 2009.
Dear Sir/Madam,
It has been decided to hold a “National Level Painting Competition” to help the creative talents
of the members of our Movement Flourish. Three best entries from each of the
following groups will be selected by the state and forwarded to the National
Headquarters for final selection. I, II
and III Prizes will be awarded to the participants in each category. States
must send the selected entries latest
by 30th January 2010.

Participants are expected to strictly follow the
specifications required for the painting:-
1. This competition should be held at place by the District or State in the presence of the
Panel of Judges to select best three entries from each section to the State
Headquarters and State Headquarters will recommend selected three entries in each section to the
National Headquarters. Only Cubs/Bulbuls,
Scouts/Guides and Rovers/Rangers of Registered
units will participate in complete uniform in the competition.
2. The Painting
should be in Colour on a drawing sheet measuring 15”x 10”.
3. The painting must bear the details of the name, address and age of the participants
on the backside of the sheet, which can
be authenticated by the State Secretary with his stamp of being the bonafide members of the Bharat Scouts & Guides.
4. The states are requested
to involve maximum youth members in this competition and send the best four paintings from each
group to the Director, Bharat Scouts
& Guides to reach us by 30th
January 2010. Late entries will not be entertained.
5. A Panel of Judges will be constituted at the National
Level they will select the best three
paintings in each group from all over India.
6. These best entries will be suitably awarded at a
gathering of National importance. The competition may be organized at the
Local/District/State level in a manner that the best elected four painting from
each group should reach the National Headquarters on or before 30th January 2010 positively
through State.
7. All selected entries will be the property of the
National Headquarters, The Bharat Scouts & Guides
will be authorized to use the entries free of Charge in any way it likes.
8.
Only registered Rover Crew and Ranger Team should participate in the above-cited competition under the age group of 17-25
years.
Participants are expected to strictly follow the
specifications required for the painting.
It is hoped that the State will take
due interest in this competition in a spirit of devotion and commitment.
