Measures for the Victims of floods in Andhra Pradesh and
Sir/Madam,
As you are aware that the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka have caused massive loss to the life and property of the people of these States and rendered a large number of people homeless. The Bharat Scouts & Guides always provided services during such calamities and also contributed in cash and kind to help the needy people.
We therefore appeal to all the Scouts/Guides/Rovers/Rangers/Unit leaders and others connected with Scout Movement to come forward and help in any manner, they can, to mitigate the miseries of flood affected people.
The money collected/contributed may be sent to the State Chief Commissioner in the address given below through Bank Draft drawn in the name of “Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Andhra Pradesh” and “Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Karnataka” for each State separately.
