Sub:- 8th APR Scout Photo Contest 2010 – “Community based Scouting”.

 

 

Dear Madam/ Sir,

 

            The AP Regional Office of WOSM has announced the Annual Photo Contest for 2010. The APR Scout Photo Contest for 2010 will be held in early March in Tokyo, Japan.

 

The Theme for the Competition is “Community based Scouting”.

 

The Aim is to increase awareness and expansion of Scouting in the communicates, i.e. Scouting for and with children in difficult circumstances, neighborhood Scouting, Community Scout Centres etc. 

 

Rules of the Competition:-

 

  1. Picture: - Photo shots showing the Theme “Community based Scouting”. Film or Digital Cameras may be used. Ideal resolution is 300 ppi for Digital Photos. Maximum print – out size is A4.

 

  1. Who can participate: - Scouts/Guides/ Rover/Rangers and Adult Leaders registered with State Association of Bharat Scouts & Guides.

                       Second - Two Silver Plaques and

                       Third- Three Bronze Plaques will be given.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Winning entries will be used for the APR Posters for 2011. The six winning entries and sox other finalists will be featured at the 2011 APR Calendar. Prizes are awarded at a major gathering in the region.  

 

  1. Deadlines :- The Last Date for receiving entry in C.D with One Print Out of Photo at National Headquarters is 31st December 2009.
