SUB.:- 4TH APR Advanced Management Course for Professional Scout Executives.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

This is to inform you that the 4th APR Advance Management Course for Professional Scout Executives which was postponed earlier will now be held at State Training Centre, Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts & Guides, Near Jagatpura Overbridge, Jagatpura Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan in the month of March 2010. The dates of this Course will be intimated to you shortly. This course will focus on training and development in the field of management for full time Professionals of State Associations of the Bharat Scouts & Guides.

Name of the Event

4th APR Advanced Management Course for Professional Scout Executives

Venue

State Training Centre, Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts & Guides, Near Jagatpura Overbridge, Jagatpura Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Aim

To provide Professional Scout Executives an opportunity to share their experiences in managing Scout Organisations and strengthen their professionalism to better serve the members in achieving the mission of the Scout Movement. 

Objective

  1. Analyse the structure of Scout Organizations and issues that arise from them.
  2. Evaluate the performance and achievement of Scout Organisations by identifying its Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT).
  3. Identify the qualities of an effective Scout Organisation and how to attain these qualities.
  4. Strengthen managerial skills in running a Scout Organisation.

 

Fees

Rs.3000.00 which will cover food, accommodation, course materials, etc.

Participants

Professional Scout Executives at the State and District levels who have already participated in the APR Basic Management Course for Professional Scout Executives. Top Scout Executives are exempted from the requirement of attendance in Basic Management Course.

Weather

The month of March is light warm in the day. 

What to bring

Set of Scout Uniform, personal kit and light cotton clothing is advisable.

Course Contents

Organisational and Administrative Structure, Legal Protection, Change Management, Strategic Management, Resources Development, Learning Organisation, Decision Making, Conflict Management, Scout Brand, Risk Management, Media and Public Relations.

 

All the participants who attended Basic Management Course for Professional Scout Executives at Jaipur from 1-15 November 2003 and also in previous APR Basic Management Courses are eligible to attend. They should ensure their participation in the Advanced Management Course without fail.
