Dear Sir/ Madam,

We are happy to inform you that National Headquarter is organizing a “Water Regatta Camp” from 02^nd to 06^th February 2010 at Seamanship School, Cochin Naval Base Cochin, Kerala.

Other details about the camp are as follows:-

Venue Base Camp	Seamanship School, 340 Men’s Barrack, Cochin Navel Base Report at South Gate of Naval Base, Cochin, Kerala.
How to reach	Ernakulam Junction is the nearest Railway Station. City Buses are available to reach Cochin Naval Base, Cochin from Railway Station. Participants should report at South Gate with the copy of Deputation Letter and Identity proof . You can contact Mr. K. M. Chacko SOC (S) of Kerala Mob. No. 09447118586 for any help.
Eligibility	Scouts/Guides/Rover /Ranger between the ages of 16 to 25 who have at least completed Tritiya Sopan / Nipun having sound health to withstand the strain of Adventure. Candidates knowing swimming only be selected for this event Adult Leaders accompanying the Participants should have good Health to withstand the strain of Adventure.

Fee	Development Fee: Rs 50/-per head for the participants and Rs.100/- for Adult leaders. Special Fee: Rs. 30/- per head for all. Total Fee: - Rs. 80/- for participants and 130/- for Adult Leaders.
Financial Assistance	National Headquarters will reimburse concessional second/ Sleeper class Train fare and actual Bus fare (where there is no train service) on production of photocopy of train tickets and Bus tickets in original along with the T.E. bill. The National Headquarters will provide free hospitality during the camp.
Programme	Water Activities, Swimming, Rowing, Boat Pulling, Kayaking, Canoeing, water games etc.
Material to be brought	Participants are requested to bring following materials with them. Two sets of correct & complete uniform and activities uniform as per APRO- II / III, Swimming costume, individual Kit, costume for performance of cultural items, plate, mug, glass, spoon, toilet requisites, sleeping bag, Personal Medicine if any. Participants should not bring costly Materials/ Ornaments to the Camp.
Last Date of Application	The last date for Receipt of application along with Medical and Risk Certificate is 20^th January 2010.

State Associations are requested to take full advantage of the quota allotted to them. The List of participants may be sent to the State Secretary, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Kerala State Headquarters, Vikas Bhawan P.O., Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala – 695 033 for necessary arrangements at the Campsite.
