SUB.:- 4th APR Advanced Management Course for Professional Scout Executives.

 

Sir/Madam,

 

The 4th APR Advanced Management Course for Professional Scout Executives will be held at State Headquarters, Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts & Guides, Bajaj Nagar, J. L. N. Marg, Jaipur (Rajasthan) from 15th to 21st May 2009. This seven days course will focus on training and development in the field of management for full time Professionals of State Associations of the Bharat Scouts & Guides.

 

Details of this Course are as follows:-

 

Aim                             : To provide Professional Scout Executives an opportunity to share

                                       their experiences in managing Scout Organizations and

                                       strengthen their professionalism to better serve the members in

                                       achieving the mission of the  Scout Movement.

 

Objective                    : 1. Analyze the structure of Scout Organizations and issues that

                                          arise from them.

                                      2. Evaluate the performance and achievement of Scout

                                          Organizations by identifying its Strengths, Weaknesses,

                                          Opportunities and Threats (SWOT).

                                      3. Identify the qualities of an effective Scout Organization and

                                          how to attain these qualities.

                                      4. Strengthen managerial skills in running a Scout Organization.  

 

Venue                                     :  State Headquarters, Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts & Guides,

                                       Bajaj Nagar Crossing, J. L. N. Marg, Jaipur-302015(Rajasthan).

 

Accommodation        : Guest House, HCM Rajasthan State Institute of Public

                                      Administration, J. L. N. Marg, Jaipur- 302017 (Rajasthan).

                                      (Near State Headquarters, Rajasthan State BS&G). 

 

 

 

 

Dates                          :  15-21 May 2009.

                                       Arrival on 14th May 2009

                                       Departure on 22nd May 2009 forenoon.  

 

Fees                            : Rs.3000.00 which will cover food, accommodation, course

                                      materials, etc.

 

Participants                : Professional Scout Executives at the State and District levels

                                      who have already participated in the APR Basic Management

                                      Course for Professional Scout Executives. Top Scout

                                      Executives are exempted from the requirement of attendance in                                     

                                      Basic Management Course.

 

Weather                      : The month of May is hot and humid, normal temperature ranges

                                      from 28 degree Celsius to 39 degree Celsius.

 

What to bring            : Set of Scout Uniform, personal kit and light cotton clothing is

                                      advisable.

 

Course Contents            : Organizational and Administrative Structure, Legal Protection,

                                      Change Management, Strategic Management, Resources

                                      Development, Learning Organization, Decision Making, Conflict

                                      Management, Scout Brand, Risk Management, Media and Public

                                      Relations.   

 

All the Participants who attended Basic Management Course for Professional Scout Executives at Jaipur from 1-15 November 2003 and also in previous APR Basic Management Courses are eligible to attend. They should ensure their participation in the Advanced Management Course without fail.

 

The name of participants in the enclosed prescribed proforma along with the participation fee of Rs.3000/- may please be sent to the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi latest by 5th April 2009.
