Sub:     National Rover Ranger Service Camp.

 

Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

            I am glad to inform you that the National Rover/ Ranger Service Camp will be held at National Youth Complex , Gadpuri, District Palwal, Haryana from 06-10 October 2009.                          

The following are the details of the Service Camp:

National Youth Complex, Gadpuri, District Palwal, Haryana.

 

How to Reach

:

Gadpuri is situated on the Mathura road in between Palwal and Ballabhgarh (just 10 km from Ballabhgarh) from Faridabad/ Ballabhgarh/ Delhi (Sarai Kalen Khan) Buses are available for Palwal. Get down at Gadpuri scout bus stand.

 

Who can attend

:

Nipun Rovers / Rangers who are Physically fit and prepared to offer services at the campsite. Those are having the skills to do Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing work and painting, white washing etc may be preferred.  The participants should be below 25 years of age.

Fee

Development Fee Rs. 50/-, Special Fee Rs. 30/- Total= Rs. 80/- will have to be paid by the participants at the time of Registration.

 

Financial Assistance

:

Actual Bus Fare and 2nd Sleeper Class Concessional Train fare will be reimbursed by the National Headquarters on production of photocopy of Train Tickets and Bus Tickets in original (bus fare will be paid for were there is no train service) and Ordinary / Express Busfare. No Deluxe/ AC fare will be reimbursed.

:

06th  October 2009 before lunch.

 

Date of Departure

:

10th  October 2009 after lunch.

 

Programme

:

Rovers/ Rangers will also participate in Group Discussion, Debate, Youth Forum, Cultural Programme, , Adventure Programme, Hike etc in addition to rendering service at the campsite.

 

Materials to be brought

:

Following materials is a must to be carried by each participants: Two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part II and III, Toilet requisites, Torch, Pen, Notebook, Costumes for Cultural items, Plate and Mug, Light Bedding and Personal Cloths.
