SUB.:- 16th National Jamboree on the occasion of Centenary Year of Indian Scouting.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

We are glad to inform you that the offer of Andhra Pradesh State Bharat Scouts & Guides Association to host the 16th National Jamboree on the occasion of Centenary Year of Indian Scouting at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh has been accepted by the National Executive Committee in its Meeting held on 11th May 2009 at the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi. The matter remained under consideration with regard to the final dates for organizing the Jamboree which have now been finalized in consultation with the President, Bharat Scouts & Guides. The said Jamboree will be held from 06-12 November 2009. The next Circular will give you all the necessary details about the venue, Jamboree fee, State wise Quota etc. The States are requested to start preliminary arrangements for participation in the Jamboree and also to get ready to arrange Railway Reservation for which Railway Board is being requested separately.
