            Your attention is invited to our Circular No. 52 / 2009 dated 13.04.2009 inviting nominations from Bharat Scouts and Guides State Associations for participations in 26th Asia- Pacific Regional Scout Conference being held at Hotel Hilton, Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia from 27th October 2009 to 01st November 2009.

 

            We have not received any response from you so far. I request you to please make wide publicity of this Circular and nominate members as:

 

  1. Delegates: (Six will be recommended).
  2. Observers: any number 

 

Young Participants will be preferred.

            We are happy to inform you that 26th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Conference to be hosted by Persekutuan Pengakap, Malaysia, will be held at Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 27th Oct – 01st Nov, 2009. You are requested to note the following information for taking part in the conference:

Participants

:

Participation in this conference may be as :

  1. Delegates (maximum number is 6).
  2. Observers: State may send adequate number of Scout Leaders and Youth members as observers.
  3. All the States are encouraged to send young delegates with at least one young member under 26 to the APR Scout Conference.

 

Weather

:

Tropical without extremely high temperatures. Days are very warm and often humid, while nights are fairly cool. Average daytime temperatures in Kuala Lumpur are around 27 Degree Celcius (82 Degree Ferhenheit) year round.

 

Receipt on Arrival

:

PPM Scout Leaders will receive participants upon arrival at both air terminals (KLIA, LCCT) at Kuala Lumpur as well as at the railway and bus terminal. They will be in uniform. After immigration and customs, you will be received and directed for transportation arrangements.

 

Accommodation

:

Accommodation at Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is available with king size and twin rooms. The cost per room is US$ 150.00. In addition to Hotel Hilton, participants will also be able to select hotel accommodation ranging from luxury hotels to budget hotels in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel details are as follows:
