Sub:- Golden Arrow Badge and Certificate for Cubs and Bulbuls.

Ref:- APRO Part II/III, Cub/Bulbul Section.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

 

 

 

            As you are aware that every year National Headquarters is presenting Golden Arrow Badge and Certificates to those Cubs and Bulbuls, who earn the Badge requirements to qualify the Golden Arrow Badge as per APRO Part II and III Chapter 1 Rule 15 & 16.

 

            We would like to inform you that a set of four forms are available for sale in Equipment Dept. of National Headquarters of which one copy of the filled form be kept at the group, Second copy at District Office, Third copy will be kept at SHQ, and Final Copy will be recommended by the SHQ to National Headquarters, over writing applications and Photostate applications will not be accepted.     

 

Cub/Bulbul qualified Chathurth Charan /Heerak Pankh having earned totally Six Proficiency Badges covering minimum one Badge from each section of the Proficiency Badge Group will be eligible to fill up the applications of Registration for Golden Arrow Award. State Association will organize a retest Camp under the supervision of State Organising Commissioner (S) & (G) to test the skills and knowledge up to Charthurth Charan/Heerak Pankh as per syllabus, in the APRO Part II and III for Cubs/Bulbuls and only qualified candidates should be awarded, Special Badge called “Golden Arrow”. Also the Cubs and Bulbuls who have Completed Seven years but not completed Ten years of age at the time of submission  of his/her applications to National Headquarters will be eligible to apply for the Golden Arrow Badge.

 

 

 

            State and Districts are requested to keep complete record of the Chathurth Charan /Heerak Pankh certificates which may be needed in future for verification. A separate Register and files must be maintained for the purpose.

 

            Skills and Knowledge up to Chathurth Charan / Heerak Pankh could be tested by the National Headquarters Staff before the award presentation ceremony at the National Level and Cubs/Bulbuls not proving up to the standard/quality, may be rejected to Award the Golden Arrow Badge Certificate.

 

A specimen copy of the application Form for Golden Arrow is enclosed herewith for reference. Application in original forms should reach at National Headquarters before 30th September 2010.
