Sub: National Rover Ranger Service Camp.

 

Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

            I am glad to inform you that the National Rover Ranger Service Camp will be conducted at National Camping cum Training Centre, New Ashok Nagar Delhi  from 5th to 14th September, 2010.

 

Following are the details of the event.

:

5th -14th September 2010.

 

Venue

:

Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Camping cum Training Centre, B- 1270, New Ashok Nagar, Delhi – 110096. Near New Ashok Nagar Metro Station Complex.

 

How to Reach

:

Buses are available from Sarai Kalen  Khan towards Noida, Get down at GOL Chakkar Bus Stand.

From ITO, near NHQ Board Bus no.  300.

From New Delhi Rly. Station Board Bus No. 355.

Metro Train is available from New Delhi Metro Station to get down Ashok Nagar Metro Station.

Who can attend

:

Nipun Rovers/Rangers who are Physically fit and prepared to offer services at the campsite.  Those are having the skills to do Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing work and painting, white washing etc may be preferred.  The participants should be below 25 years of age.

 

Quota

:

Rover ___, Ranger ___   Ranger Leader - 01 Total= ___.

 

Development Fee

:

Development Fee Rs. 50/-, Special Fee Rs. 30/- Total Rs. 80/- will have to be paid by the participants at the time of Registration.

Financial Assistance

:

Actual Bus Fare and 2nd Sleeper Class Concessional Train Fare will be reimbursed by the National Headquarters on production of photocopy of Train Tickets and Bus Tickets in original (bus fare will be paid for were there is no train service) and Ordinary/Express Busfare.  No Deluxe/AC fare will be reimbursed.  Only shortest Route Fare will be reimbursed.

 

Date of Reporting

:

5th September 2010 before Lunch.

 

Date of Departure

:

14th September 2010 after Lunch.

 

Materials to be brought

:

Following materials are to be carried by each participant.  Two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part II and II, Tolet requisites, Torch, Pen, Notebook, Costumes for Cultural items, Plate and Mug, Light Bedding and Personal Cloths.

 

Programme & activities

:

Rovers/Rangers will also participate in Group Discussion, Debate, Youth Forum, Cultural Programme, Adventure Programme, Hike etc in addition to rendering service at the campsite.

The list of participating candidates should reach on or before 30th August, 2010.
