Sub: Pachmarhi Utsav Service Camp from 25th
to 29th December, 2010
We are glad to inform you
that Pachmarhi Utsav has been organised at Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. As
Pachmarhi is known as Queen of Satpura. It is world famous for its flora and
fauna. It is also called as Trekkers Paradise. The Madhya Pradesh Government
is organizing a Pachmarhi Utsav at Pachmarhi from 25th to 29th
December, 2010. The Bharat Scouts & Guides has proposed a Service Camp to
help the local administration and to provide Rovers a opportunity to learn to organize
the big events. Details of the service camp are as follows:

Usual camp kit : 2
Sets of Uniform as per APRO II / III. (Black shoes with lace, black socks,
Nylex Belt etc). General Camp Kit: Mosquito net, personal
medicines, bedding, torch, odomos tube, pen, pencil, knotting rope etc are
required. NB : Only

Development Fee Rs. 50/-
+ Special Fee Rs. 30/- = Total

The aim of this programme
to provide them opportunity to learn how to organise a big gathering. |

Financial Assistance |
Free hospitality during
the course will be provided. 50% Concessional 2nd Class Train fare
and actual bus fare (where there is no train service) will be reimbursed on
production of T.E. Bill along with Bus tickets in original & Photocopies
of Train tickets to be submitted. Please bring photocopies of Train Tickets. |

How to reach |
Pachmarhi is located on the Mumbai Jabalpur route
(Between Itarsi and Jabalpur Station). Pipariya is the nearest Railway
station from Pachmarhi. The distance from Pipariya to Pachmarhi is 56 k.m.
Buses are available from Pipariya to Pachmarhi. Numbers of private jeeps are
also available on nominal rate. The Bharat Scouts & Guides is just 5
k.m. from Pachmarhi bus stand. Local
Conveyance available to reach National Training Centre from Pachmarhi Bus
Stand. Those who are coming by private Jeep can directly come up NTC. |

Weather |
Climate at Pachmarhi during December will be cold. Warm cloth,
bedding, blankets sweater / jackets are must. |

Arrival |
25.12.2010 : Before Lunch (Registration at 10.00 AM in proper
uniform). Late comers will not be admitted. |

Departure |
29.12.2010 : After Lunch. (Accordingly return reservation may be
made). |

rovers duly recommended by State Organising Commissioner (S) should reach at
NTC on or before 10th December, 2010. Your co-operation is
