Sub: Handicraft and Vocational Training Course for Senior Scouts, Guides, Rovers & Rangers from 20-29 November, 2010

We are glad to inform you that the National Headquarters has sanctioned a Handicraft and Vocational Training Course for Senior Scouts, Guides, Rovers & Rangers. The motto of the course is to train the youths to become trained in Vocational training and handicraft skills. This will not only increase their skill, creativity but also play a major role in career development. They will become self sufficient, choose the new ways of self employment. The details of the course is as follows :

1	Name of the Course	Handicraft & Vocational Training Course for Senior Scouts, Guides, Rovers, & Rangers.
2	Dates of the Course	20.11.2010 to 29.11.2010 (Ten Days).
3	Venue	The Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Training Centre, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh-461881
4	How to Reach	National Training Centre is at Pachmarhi. Pachmarhi is a beautiful Hill Station. Get down at Itarsi, catch any train in the route ITARSI-JABALPUR which stops at Pipariya station. Get down at Pipariya. Pipariya Bus Stop is just opposite to Rly. Station. Get up to a Bus to come to Pachmarhi. The distance from Pipariya to Pachmarhi is 56 Km. Buses and Taxies are available. NTC is five Km from Pachmarhi bus stand.
5	Arrival	20.11.2010 : Registration at 10.00 AM. (Late comers will not be admitted).
6	Departure	29.11.2010 : After Lunch. (Accordingly return reservation may be made).
7	Fee	Dev. Fee. Rs. 50/- + Special Fee Rs. 30/- = Total Rs. 80/- only.
8	Financial Assistance	Free hospitality during the Course will be provided. 50% Concessional Train fare and actual bus fare (where there is no train service) will be reimbursed on production of T.E. Bill along with Bus tickets in original and Photocopies of Train tickets to be submitted (Bring the photocopies of your train tickets).
9	Eligibility	Senior Scouts, Guides (About 16 years), Rovers, & Rangers. (State officials are requested to depute the interested candidates who can utilize the training in his / her personal life.
10	Quota	Scout Wing 8 & Guide Wing 8 = Total 16 each state. If any state needs more quota, please inform us well in advance.
11	What to Bring	2 Sets of correct & complete Uniform as per APRO II/III (Scouts Wing : Black shoes, Black shocks, Nylex Belt : Guide Wing : Black Shoes & Camel Colour socks, Brown Nylex Belt etc.) should be brought. Usual Camp Kit : Personal requisites, Mosquito net, odomas, personal medicines, torch, knotting rope 3 Mtr. with whipping, Chart paper, pen, pencil etc. Bedding, warm cloth etc will be required as Pachmarhi will be very cold during November. Note : Only BSNL mobile network is working in Pachmarhi.

Application duly filled in and recommended by state officials should reach NTC on or before 5^th November, 2010. STCs are requested to take immediate action to utilize the full quota. Your co-operation is solicited.
