SUB: VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSE.

 

Sir/Madam,

 

            We are glad to inform you that NHQ will be conducting a Vocational Training Programme for Scout/Guide/Rover/Rangers. The motto of the Programme is to train the Scouts/Guides/Rovers/Rangers in Vocational Training. This will increase their skills, creativity and also play a major role in Career development.

The following details in this connection are as follows:

 

1. DATE OF THE COURSE:            08TH TO 17TH April 2008.

 

2. VENUE:                                          NYC, Gadpuri, Haryana.

 

3. ARRIVAL:                                     08TH April 2008 Before Lunch.

 

4. DEPARTURE:                                17TH April 2008 After Lunch.

 

5. a) DEV. FEE: Rs. 50/- for Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger & Rs. 100/- for Adult Leaders.

    b) SPECIAL FEE:                Rs. 30/- Only

 

6. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Free hospitality during the Course will be provided 50% Concessional Train Fare and actual Bus fare (where there is no train service) will be reimbursed on production of T.E. Bill along with Bus tickets in original and Photographs of Train tickets to be submitted.

 

7. QUOTA & ELIGIBILITY: Each State is given a Quota of 4 members (2 from Scouts wing and 2 from Guide wing). If any state needs more quota, please inform us. State Officials are requested to depute the real needy Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger who can utilize the training for his/her life and motivate others also.

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. WHAT TO BRING: Usual camp kit, 2 sets of Uniform as per APRO II/III. Chart paper, Pen, Pencil, Marker pen, Knotting rope, Light Bedding etc. should be brought. Scissors, Cello tape and other materials related to Vocational training may be brought.

 

            Applications duly recommended by state should reach NHQ on or before starting the course. Please ensure participation of your State by reserving the seat in advance.
