SUB: Laxmi Mazumdar Award 2008-2009.

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

           

            With reference to our Circular No. 34/08 dated 24.03.2008, it is to further remind you that the Laxmi Mazumdar Award 2008-2009 for outstanding involvement in the community, common for Scout/ Guide held every year. This award is to honour the memory of the Ex- National Commissioner  Mrs. Laxmi Mazumdar and to keep alive her contribution to the movement. The Laxmi Mazumdar Award will be awarded to Guide Company, Ranger Team, Scout Troop and Rover Crew.

            Nomination may be made by the District Chief Commissioner through the State Chief Commissioner without the knowledge of the group and be sent to the National Headquarters.

            Only one entry from each section of both the wings separately i.e. Scout/ Guide, Rover/Ranger must reach National Headquarters before 31st July 2008.

            The Log Book to be prepared in which all the work done in the community should be mentioned in detail along with photograph and submitted to National Headquarters by 15th September 2008.

            The Laxmi Mazumdar Award will be Judged by a panel of 5 Judges appointed by the Hon’ble National Commissioner.
