Objectives |
·
To increase the
level of understanding of Trends of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting members
aged 14-16 years old in the Asia Pacific Region. ·
To identify
retention and recruitment strategies for girls 14-16 years old. ·
To determine
the target group’s needs and expectations as basis for proposing program
development for their age level to the MOs. ·
To expose the
participants to the unique Indian Culture through Sangam
World Centre. ·
To gain a deeper understanding of various
cultures through cross-cultural sharing. |

Participants’ Profile (Girl accompanied by
one adult leader per MO) |
Girl:- · 14-16
years old. · Must understand and Speak English. · Active Girl Guide in the organization. Adult Member:- · The adult member (one only) must preferably not have
participated in any international Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting event. · The
adult leader must be active in Guiding in the Organization |

Expenditure |
Rs. 1500/- Booking Fees to participate in the
event. The Demand Draft will be prepared in favour
of “SANGAM WORLD CENTRE”. * Travelling Expenditure by self to reach Sangam. * Event
Fees Scholarship (One time basis) |

Programme
Concept |
To provide ways for the
target age group to recommend to the Asia Pacific Committee, specific
strategies that will continuously sustain the membership and active
participation of girls between 14 and 16 years old. The
Planning Committee has identified objectives and selected 3 broad headings
to cover the objectives:
A
few plenary sessions will be held to cover the aims and objectives, followed
by mini workshops, discussions and dialogues with guests
speakers on various topics. The activities for the girls
and adults members will be varied and exciting, including games, outdoor
pursuits, intergenerational activities and cultural events. |
