SUB:    HAM COURSE

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

We are pleased to inform you that the HAM Course will be conducted by the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi from as per Schedule of Events it should be held from 1st June to 15th June 2006 but it was changed. Please note from 21st July to 4th August 2006. Details of the Course are as follows: -

ELIGIBILITY

 

:

Ø      Degree in Science

Ø      Basic knowledge on Electronics / Morse Code

Ø      Scouters/Guiders Rovers/Rangers

 

DEVELOPMENT & SPECIAL FEE

:

Rs.100/- from each candidate will be charged as Development & Rs.30/- as Special Fee will be charged from each candidate at the time of registration

 

OTHER FEES

:

Ø      Rs.100/- to purchase printed materials(If you want to purchase).

Ø      Rs.20/- to be paid for application form of GR I & II

Ø      Examination fee for GR-I Rs.20/- & GR-II Rs.10/- to be paid to the Department of Telecommunication, Pushp Bhawan, New Delhi.

 

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

:

Actual Bus fare and 2nd Class concessional train fare on production of original bus tickets and photocopy of the train tickets will be reimbursed according to the quota allotment.

 

ARRIVAL

:

21st July 2006 at 11.00 am

 

DEPARTURE

:

4th August 2006 after 08.30 am

 

QUOTA

:

Scout wing one & Guide wing one.

 

WHAT TO BRING

:

Following materials is must to carry by each participant: -

Ø      Two sets of correct and complete uniform

Ø      Toilet requisites, light bedding, torch, two notebooks, pen & pencils.

Ø      6 Passport size photographs in perfect Scout/Guide Uniform.

Ø      Attested copy of the date of birth certificate 3 copies.

Ø      Nationality & Character certificate model attached with circular.  

 

At the end of the course examination will be conducted by the monitoring station, Department of Telecommunication WIC Wing. You are requested to send list of participants to National Headquarters on or before 15th June 2006.
