SUB:- HANDICRAFT TRAINING (VOCATIONAL TRAINING) COURSE FOR 

            SCOUTERS/GUIDERS AT PUSHKAR GHATI, AJMER

Dear Sir/Madam,

                           We are happy to inform you that the National Headquarters is once again organising a Vocational Training Course for Unit Leaders in collaboration with Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts & Guides. You are requested to select two Scouters/Guiders or Trainers who have interest to learn Handicrafts and after training of the particular craft further they can transfer the skill and knowledge to other Unit Leaders effectively and confidently. Please take full advantage of the opportunity. Other details about the Course are as follows:-

Eligibility

Unit Leaders or Organisers having interest in learning Handicrafts, Vocational Skills and efficiency in teaching handicrafts may be deputed to attend the Course.

 

Quota allotted

Two Scouter/Guider – Maximum four Unit Leader from a state

 

How to Reach

Please get down at Ajmer Railway Station or Bus stand Ajmer and get in a Bus going Pushkar by old Road and get down at the centres gate Pushkar Ghati is about 7 Km. from Ajmer Railway Station.

Development Fee

Rs. 100/- per head will be charged at the time of registration

 

Special Fee

Rs. 30/- per head will be charged at the time of registration

 

Camp Fee

No Camp Fee. Free hospitality will be provided for the eligible candidates.

 

Travelling Expenditure

On production of Bus Tickets in Original and a photo copy of the Training Ticket, 2nd class concessional fare with reservation charge will be reimbursed. 

 

Fee for Special Trades

Each candidate will have to join a group of trade and has to learn at least one trade (skill). Hence he has to bring the raw materials necessary to learn that Trade of his choice. A list of the Trades and Handicrafts is enclosed herewith. A candidate who wants to learn extra trade or skill has to pay additional fee as follows:-

·        Photography – Rs 50/- separately apart from above fees and bring his own Camera and Roll

·        Electronics – Rs. 400/- separately (The cost of material h-used for learning and Trade)

 

What to bring

Each candidate is requested to bring following materials with him/her. One set of correct and complete uniform, and additional set of casual dress as per APRO Part – II and III. Toilet requisites, clothing to change, light bedding, torch, water bottle, plate, mug, spoon, etc.

Applications of interested Scouters/Guiders may please be sent to the State Secretary, Rajasthan Bharat Scouts & Guides, SHQ, Bajaj Nagar, Jaipur with a copy to Jt. Director (S) at NHQ on before 30th July, 2006.
