As per the decision of the National Council of the Bharat Scouts and Guides in its meeting held on 01/12/2018, was established will function with effect from 01.04.2019. The office of Central Regional Headquarters was opened on 1st May 2019, at National Training Centre, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh the decision of National Council. At present Central Region Headquarters has been shifted from National Training Centre to National Youth Complex Gadpuri, District Palwal, Haryana and functioning at NYC from 26th April 2021. Central Region has the following Six States:

4. N. W. RAILWAY
5. S.E.C. RAILWAY

To decentralize the operation of National headquarters and bridge the gap between National and State Headquarters five Regional Headquarters have formed in the early 80s. Eastern Regional Headquarters was established at Patna, Bihar with six states namely Bihar, Eastern Railway, Orissa, Sikkim, South Eastern Railway and West Bengal. Later Sikkim has shifted to North Eastern Region and after bifurcation of Bihar, Eastern Railway and South Eastern Railway, Jharkhand, East Central Railway and East Coast Railway was formed and added to the region. Presently Four political states Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and Four Railway States -Eastern Railway, East Central Railway, East Coast Railway, South Eastern Railway are part of Eastern Region. Eastern Regional Headquarters, along with all other regions was shifted to New Delhi in 1996 and functioned from , NHQ and NYC, Gadpuri in June 2014re located at the State Training Centre Ganganagar, Kolkata, West Bengal. Total Scout Guide population of the region is 186855 covering 3.2% of NHQ population. Many Prestigious Office of National Headquarters like Vice President, Chief Commissioner, International Commissioners have held by the stalwarts of the region.

North East Region has unique contribution to the diversity and inclusion in the Bharat Scouts and Guides. One can see here the real spirit of Scouting or we may say by birth scouting spirit among the people of North East - living with nature in a topical geographic area of the country. All the states are reach with their own culture and heritage, which is reflected in scouting everywhere in North East India. After coming the concept of Regional Setup in the Bharat Scouts and Guides our Region i.e. North East Region comes to force with the regional headquarters at Guwahati, Assam in April 1989. The Region has its own specific impact in BSG and it makes the movement in India diverse in real sense with the variety of tradition & culture and membership. N E region proud with the Leadership of a good number of local and national leaders which make us rich in Scouting Skills and Knowledge. The Region consists of 09 States-

In 1996, all the Regional Headquarters shifted at The Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi, After a long time Southern Region Headquarters shifted at Shanti Gurha, Bangalore, Karnataka in 2003, June under the Leadership of Shri. D.L.Sharma, Director, BSG, at that time Smt. Suman Lata Arrora was the Assistant Director of Southern Region. Currently regional headquarters consist of ten (10) States along with three (03) Railway States, i.e. (1) Andaman and Nicobar (2) Andhra Pradesh (3) Karnataka (4) Kerala (5) Puducherry (6) South Central Railway (7) Southern Railway (8) South Western Railway (9) Tamilnadu (10) Telangana. Originally The Bharat Scouts and Guides Western Region was started at NTC, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. Assistant Director was Mr. Madanlal. The office was shifted to Ghatlodia, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 1993 and continued its office upto 1996. Assistant Director was I.P.Dube. Mr. KalpeshSatyendraJhaveri, Former Chief Justice, Orrisa helped too much in shifting the RHQ and run the RHQ smoothly at Gujarat. After that RHQ was merged with NHQ and continue its office upto………………..at NHQ. In the year of ……………..RHQ, WR was shifted to NYC, Gadpuri, Haryana. Now the office is running from NYC, Gadpuri, Haryana with National Youth Adventure Institute. Western Region has the following Six States: 1. Central Railway 2. Dadra Nagar Haveli 3. Goa 4.
